 WEENY Todd was a legendary barber and serial killer who was especially adept with the use of a razor. Over the years, the gruesome character became a staple in stage plays, films, and –what else?– musicals.

This radio play is one of the stories included in Ken Greenwald’s book, The Lost Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. For fans of the original radio show, this is a good book. My edition was a Barnes & Noble reprint, and I don’t have the year, but it was originally published well before H. Paul Jeffers’ recent ‘The Forgotten Adventures of Sherlock Holmes,’ which is also based on the Rathbone/Bruce radio plays.
